Höflinger Müller Contest 2026

Rules for the contest sponsored by Ritterturnier Kaltenberg Veranstaltungs-GmbH in cooperation with Müller Höflinger GmbH.

1. Contest, Prizes

1.1. Kaltenberger Ritterturnier Veranstaltungs-GmbH (hereinafter “Kaltenberger Ritterturnier”), Schloss Str. 10, 82269 Kaltenberg, is organizing the 2026 Kaltenberger Ritterturnier Contest (hereinafter “Contest”) during the promotional period from June 1, 2026, to July 20, 2026. To this end, cardboard displays with flyers promoting the Kaltenberg Knights’ Tournament Contest will be placed in approximately 100 stores of the Müller Höflinger GmbH chain (hereinafter “Müller Höflinger”). Contest participants must enter their email address and the following information athttp://www.ritterturnier.de/hoeflingermueller/:

• Name
• First name
• Email address

Once the information has been entered and submitted, the contest participant will receive a verification message at the email address provided. The participant must click on the link contained in that message to confirm their entry in the contest using the email address provided (double opt-in). If the link is not clicked within 24 hours of registration, the registration will expire and will no longer be valid.

1.2. The following prize package can be won once as part of the contest:

• Tickets to the jousting tournament for 4 people on the third weekend (July 24, 25, or 26, 2026)
• Tournament menu at the Ritterschwemme (excluding drinks)

The following are not included:

• Arrival and Departure
• Overnight stay
• Parking fees
• Drinks at Walhall

1.3. The promotion is valid in the Federal Republic of Germany / Bavaria. Prizes will be shipped exclusively to delivery addresses within the Federal Republic of Germany.

2. Eligibility Requirements for the Contest

Any natural person aged 12 or older who is a resident of the Federal Republic of Germany may enter the contest. Employees of the Kaltenberg Knights’ Tournament and employees of Müller Höflinger or any other companies or resellers involved in organizing the contest, as well as their respective family members and staff, are excluded from participation.

3. Participation in the Contest & Terms and Conditions

3.1. Participants may enter the contest directly by providing their email address and the information specified in Section 1.1 on the websitehttp://www.ritterturnier.de/hoeflingermueller/, subject to the terms and conditions also specified in Section 1.1.

3.2 Your registration is not considered complete until you receive a second confirmation email after clicking the link in the email we sent you (double opt-in).

3.3 Müller Höflinger will randomly select the winners on July 20, 2026.

3.4 Winners will be contacted by email within five business days of the drawing. If winners do not respond to the email or phone call within 24 hours, the prize will be forfeited.

3.5 Winners are not entitled to redeem their prize on a date of their choosing. Kaltenberg Veranstaltungs GmbH may, however, offer this as a gesture of goodwill.

3.6 The prize may only be redeemed in 2026, between July 24 and 26, 2024, during event hours.

3.7 Cash redemption and/or transfer of the prize is not permitted. The prize cannot be combined with or used in conjunction with other discounts, promotions, or coupons. Publication and resale of the prize are prohibited.

4. Service Address/Contact

4.1. 5. Use of Names and Images for Advertising Purposes, Data Protection

5.1. By entering the contest, the participant agrees that, in the event of winning the grand prize, Kaltenberg Veranstaltungs GmbH may use the participant’s name, photograph, and/or video footage on the Internet, in press releases, and in other promotional materials to a reasonable extent.

5.2. The personal data provided and transmitted by the participant in connection with their participation in the contest will be stored, used, and processed by Kaltenberg Veranstaltungs GmbH and its partners commissioned to organize and administer the contest solely for the purpose of conducting and administering the contest, and will not be disclosed to unauthorized third parties or used for any other purpose. Upon conclusion of the contest, all of the participant’s data will be deleted. By participating in the contest, the participant consents to the use, storage, and processing of their personal data and to the associated transfer of data between Kaltenberg Veranstaltungs GmbH and the commissioned partners in connection with the administration of the contest. The participant is free to revoke this consent at any time. The revocation must be in writing and addressed to: Kaltenberg Veranstaltungs GmbH, Schloss Straße 10, 82269 Kaltenberg, or to [email protected]. In the event of a valid revocation, Kaltenberg Veranstaltungs GmbH will delete the participant’s personal data, unless Kaltenberg Veranstaltungs GmbH is already permitted to store and use the data based on a legal basis or other statutory requirements.

5.3. The participant has the right to request, in writing (e.g., by letter, fax, or email), that Kaltenberg Veranstaltungs GmbH provide information regarding which personal data about him or her is stored by Kaltenberg Veranstaltungs GmbH. He or she may request that Kaltenberg Veranstaltungs GmbH correct any stored data if it is inaccurate. Furthermore, the participant has the option to have data concerning them blocked or deleted by Kaltenberg Veranstaltungs GmbH. Excluded from deletion are data that Kaltenberg Veranstaltungs GmbH requires to process pending tasks or to enforce its own rights and claims, as well as data that Kaltenberg Veranstaltungs GmbH is required to retain in accordance with legal provisions.

6. Disqualification from the Contest 

6.1. Kaltenberg Veranstaltungs GmbH reserves the right to exclude from participation any individuals or organized groups where there is reasonable suspicion that they are using or have used unauthorized aids in participating in the contest, or that they are attempting in any other manner not in accordance with the rules to gain an advantage for themselves or third parties through manipulation or by misrepresenting facts, or to otherwise negatively influence the contest or influence it in a manner contrary to the terms and conditions of participation. The same applies to individuals who sell the prizes commercially, for example via online platforms.

6.2. If a participant attempts to gain an unfair advantage by repeatedly entering different email addresses belonging to the same individual, they may also be disqualified from the contest.

6.3. In the event of a valid disqualification from the contest, any claims to prizes by the disqualified participant shall lapse, even if a prize has already been confirmed or otherwise promised by Kaltenberg Veranstaltungs GmbH. In such a case, Kaltenberg Veranstaltungs GmbH also has the right to reclaim any prizes that have already been awarded.

7. Warranty, Liability

7.1. Kaltenberg Veranstaltungs GmbH is not liable for any material defects or legal defects in the prizes offered. Liability for incorrect information or descriptions of the prizes offered is excluded to the extent permitted by law. The appearance of the prizes may differ from the prizes depicted in the promotional materials used for this contest. Kaltenberg Veranstaltungs GmbH reserves the right to replace the advertised prize with a prize of equal value.

7.2. Kaltenberg Veranstaltungs GmbH is liable for damages incurred by the participant in accordance with statutory provisions, provided that such damages were caused intentionally or through gross negligence, it results from the absence of a guaranteed quality of the service, it is based on a culpable breach of material contractual obligations, it results from a culpable injury to health, body, or life, or liability is provided for under the Product Liability Act. Material contractual obligations are those contractual obligations whose fulfillment is essential for the proper performance of the contract, on whose compliance the participant may regularly rely, and whose breach jeopardizes the achievement of the purpose of the contract. In all other respects, liability on the part of Kaltenberg Veranstaltungs GmbH is excluded regardless of the legal basis.

7.3. Kaltenberg Veranstaltungs GmbH makes no warranty and assumes no liability that the contest will be available and function without error throughout the entire duration of the event. Kaltenberg Veranstaltungs GmbH reserves the right to cancel, terminate, modify, or suspend the contest in whole or in part.

8. Miscellaneous

8.1. If the proper conduct of the contest can no longer be guaranteed—for example, due to suspected manipulation, technical malfunctions, program errors, or other significant or unforeseen reasons beyond the control of Kaltenberg Veranstaltungs GmbH—Kaltenberg Veranstaltungs GmbH may cancel the contest at any time and without prior notice.

8.2. Legal action is excluded.

8.3. Should any provision of these Terms and Conditions be or become invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions shall remain unaffected.
