There he stands in his distinctive leather costume and his imposing, lopsided jester’s cap. The jester Wandelbar greets visitors at the main gate, leads the grand parade across the grounds, and strolls through the arena during the show to make sure everything is in order. For more than 30 years, Wandelbar has taken on the vital role of court jester at Kaltenberg Castle.
