Stroll through the market, enjoy musicians, Jugglers & Performers and immerse yourself in a magical medieval world.At 9 p.m., after dark, the grand knight tournament showbegins as the dramatic highlight of the day—intense, mythical, and impressively staged.
After the show, the night continues:firelight, musicians, Jugglers & Performers camp groups fill the grounds with spectacle and emotion. An atmosphere that invites you to celebrate together and be part of this glittering medieval festival until late into the night.

Sunday at Kaltenberg Castle is family day for all generations—relaxed, emotional, and full of magic.
Music, juggling, crafts, and lively market activity create a special atmosphere for young and old alike from 12 noon onwards. The highlight of the day is the grand jousting tournament show in the arena—powerfully staged and an unforgettable experience.
The children's jousting tournament: The arena show is followed by a highlight that only takes place on Sunday. Nowthe children take center stage in the arena. In the big children's tournament, they become little knights themselves, demonstrate their courage and skill, and are then ceremoniously knighted. A moment full of pride, joy, and shining eyes.

The Gauklernacht
Date: July 10
The Gauklernacht traditionally marks the atmospheric start of the Kaltenberg Knight Tournament. On this night, the grounds with their five live stages belong entirely to the jugglers, minstrels, and jesters, who entertain the audience late into the night with fantastic performances. Until eventually everyone is celebrating together.
Only today can you experience our artists with special or extra-long performances. One of the highlights of the night is an impressive musical fireworks display that bathes the entire Kaltenberg Castle in magical colors.
